THM Multilayer Cook-In Shrink Bags
KREHALON THM cooking bags are an extension of the ML40 shrink bag family. The structure provides a unique combination of gas and moisture barrier with superior strength and excellent cook in the bag performance.
KREHALON THM bags are designed for surface pasteurisation or long time boiling or steam cooking with minimal product weight loss, from "second skin" shrink performance to all your cooked and pasteurised products.
Available types
KREHALON THM bags are available in the following types/thicknesses:
- THM-P
For inplant cook in applications, when the bag is stripped off after cooking. THM-P is also used for surface pasteurisation for extended shelf life packaged products. The sealant layer is designed to minimize cook out but ensure easy peeling with minimal product damage. - THM-T
For cooking applications where the product is also distributed in the same bag. THM-T ensures meat adhesion and minimizes product weight loss and keeping good product presentation, during cooking and shipping. THM-T will protect the product after cooking and ensure full protection through out the distribution process.
