KREHALON offer coextruded APET barrier films for gas flush thermoforming applications. This amorphous polyester structure is easy thermoformable, very clear, excellent rigidity, high barrier to moisture and good aroma barrier. It's barrier properties make it suitable for medium barrier gas flush applications.
Combining this structure with more complex barrier polymers can extend shelf life further. Our high barrier multilayer sheets for thermoforming with Polyester together with polymers of different characteristics in many versions such as:
- Expanded
- Metallized
Available types
Dependant on application, we can offer:
- APET/PE
- Mono APET (in conjunction with our special lidding films)
- rPET - PE or Mono
- Multilayer PET with EVOH and PE
You can also choose films with the following properties:
- Easy peel
- Coloured
- Secondary seal or skin pack
Available widths
KREHALON rigid thermoforming films can be slit into widths from 200mm to 700mm wide in 1mm increments. These films are wound on 3 inch (76mm) paper cores.

KREHALON rigid thermoforming films are available from 250 to 1200 micron;
External diameters from 200 to 1000mm
Colours
All KREHALON rigid thermoforming films are available as clear films. These films are also available in a range of pigmented colours. Please contact KREHALON for further details of availability.
Print
KREHALON rigid thermoforming films can be supplied printed up to 8 colours flexographic print. This sandwich printed base web can add a unique dimension to pack presentation.
