Krehalon - Flexible Barrier Packaging

Shrink bags are design to be used in vacuum packing applications where high "skin tight" packaging presentation is required. Air is evacuated from the bags using vacuum or suction equipment before sealing. Heat is then applied, usually hot water, to activate the packaging material to shrink around the product.

Non shrink bags include a range of vacuum bags/pouches that are used on vacuum equipment to evacuate air from within the bag before sealing. Other applications include modified atmosphere gas flushing bags, where air is evacuated from the bags using suction equipment and then a gas mix is injected into the bag before sealing.
