We recently introduced two new grades to our ML40 product range.
ML40-MK is a 70-micron, with significant resistance that is expected to replace 90mys versions in the market. This product is very well suited to retail lamb and other bone in retail shrink bag packs.
ML40-MX is a 110-micron quality, which is 20 microns thinner than our former 130 micron ML40-X but with an equal puncture resistance. It has been proven very successful in replacing bone guard (bag) alternatives. The material is technically very strong, with superior shrink.
Shaped seal shrink bags.
In addition to standard curve, straight and side seal options, Krehalon UK have developed additional shaped seals:
V shape for lamb legs. The shaped bag offers better shrink presentation and a second skin shrink presentation for lamb legs and 1/2 legs. The bags are offered in the NEW ML40-MK (70mys) and the existing ML40-T (90mys) thickness versions.
V shape bags for cheese wedge applications. The V shaped wedge bags are offered in the standard ML40-G (40mys) shrink barrier bags.
Bullet seal shape bags for Turkey Crowns. The tight curve of this bag follows the shape of a turkey breast crown, Joint.
Bullet seal shape bags for retail meat joints. Log shaped meat joints will benefit from this tight curve, to minimise ears and maximise retail vacuum packed joint presentation.
