KREHALON offer multilayer, barrier flexible films for most vacuum and gas flush thermoforming applications, including fresh and processed meats, poultry, cheese and part-baked bread.

Barrier layers
We vary structures, such as thickness and barrier types, including a range of polyamide and EVOH resins to meet the shelf life and cost requirements of our customers.
Sealant layers
We offer a range of sealant types, including:
- Standard sealant layers
- High sealing properties for high contaminated seal areas and less pack leakers
- Quick sealing properties for faster machine speeds and higher output
- Secondary sealing properties for secondary skin pack
- Cooking types: boilable and retortable
- Easy peel properties

Available widths
KREHALON flexible thermoforming films can be slit into widths from 200mm to 900mm wide in 1mm increments. These films can be wound on 3 inch (76mm) or 6 inch (152mm) paper cores.
Available thicknesses
Each type of film is available in thicknesses from 60 to 400 micron.
Colours and options
All the above films can be offered in translucent, opaque, opaque pearl and opaque metallic colouring. Please contact KREHALON for further details of availability.
Print
KREHALON flexible thermoforming films can be supplied flexographically printed in up to 8 colours. Forming webs can be continuous or registered printed, dependant on machine specification. As coextruded structures, these would be surface printed only.

Our technical support team advise customers on suitable structures for each customer application. We also matching top and base web structures to ensure maximum sealability and pack integrity.
