Within its food packaging division, KUREHA established a holding company in the Netherlands under the name of Kureha Europe B.V. The technology of KUREHA Japan was then transferred to KREHALON Industrie B.V. in the city of Deventer in the Netherlands. This company, founded in 1973, still co-operates closely with KUREHA. KREHALON Industrie produces a variety of high barrier shrink materials that are developed specifically for packaging fresh and processed meat, cheese, fish, and poultry. From the Netherlands the products are sold to all continents: Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle-East and Australasia.

Krehalon Europe

The Netherlands is fully equipped to serve its customers in the best possible manner; it operates an extrusion department running 24 hours a day, a printing department and a converting department. All processes are controlled by the management system - fully certified by official bodies - which consists of three other systems: the quality system, the hygiene system and the environmental system.
